However, the abrasive media and harsh conditions cause pH sensors to last only a few weeks, requiring daily cleaning and calibration. This leads to process interruptions and loss of chemicals, nickel, and cobalt. Regular cleaning, calibration, and condition monitoring are essential for reliable pH values.
