An apprenticeship at Endress+Hauser takes apprentices a big step forward. Tasks
As an information technologist with a focus on application development, you are an expert in the development of applications and websites. You create your own apps using modern programming languages, including Java, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, C++, C#, Python, and more. You stay up-to-date with the latest digital trends and work with cutting-edge cloud-based technologies.
Another essential aspect of your role is analysing problems faced by our customers from various industries and crafting innovative solution proposals using various IT tools.
Duration
The apprenticeship lasts four years. The apprentices attend regular classes at the vocational school in the Berufsbildungszentrum Baselland in Muttenz and Pratteln. Our apprentices are also offered the opportunity of international training (EUREGIO), that is, the completion of an internship in a foreign country close to the border. We strongly encourage their obtaining professional maturity during the apprenticeship with us.
Prerequisites
We are looking for young people with good grades in mathematics and English, as well as with good logical-abstract thinking skills. You should be able to work accurately, be a team player, enjoy dealing with computers and programming, have a confident manner and be able to express yourself well.
Suitable students: secondary school students, level E or P.
A suitability test (Multicheck technical for Information Technologist) is required.
