Looking at energy consumption
We check your on-site energy measurement points and summarize the results in a verification report
Disagreements on energy charges? No problem. Our verification service can prove the precision of your energy measurement point. We'll document the accuracy of your measuring point in black and white using our traceable and reliable process. As an added benefit our process will identify any measuring uncertainties, which we can help you to eliminate if required.
Transparent information on accuracy and measuring uncertainties at your measurement point
Independent verification report as documentary evidence
Help to improve your measurement accuracy by reducing measuring uncertainty
Verification of energy measurements
The aim of the verification process is to determine the accuracy of energy measurement points (steam, hot water, cold water, water/glycol, nitrogen, natural gas, and compressed air) and to present it in a detailed report. This report proves that your measurement system is functioning correctly, ensuring that you can bill your energy consumers without errors.
The six-part report comprises a system description, the verification concept, results, a summary, references and appendices.
The process values of the metrology used are calibrated and verified using standardized measurement procedures (SOP). If the measurement point includes an energy computer, this is also checked. If required, we also verify signal transmission to the energy monitoring or management systems. After testing the system, component measuring uncertainties are calculated and factored into the results based on their contribution, which are then presented in a report alongside a statement of conformity.
